Re: IOLA MILITARY SHOW (PHOTOS ADDED)
Awesome pictures. Amazed at that old truck with M35 motor in it. Or at least looks like it. How about driving with the engine between your legs?

Re: winch cable care
Where I work we have over a 100 trucks with front winch's as well as leveling cables. We use lubriplate brand chain and cable spray. It will not wash away with water easily and soaks into the cable strands. I am sure there are other brands of cable spray, I know NAPA makes one. The Lubriplate brand ...

Re: New M-37 owner questions ...
The oil bath cleaner can just be cleaned not replaced. Dump out the small amount of oil in it, wipe out any crude and refill with clean oil. If truth be known probably filters air better than a cheap paper element. All the older farm tractors had them and I bet rarely died of dirt ingestion. I have ...

Re: Red Ball MV Meet 2015
Seems the M37's themselves are getting harder to come by. At least in my half of the country. We looked for months before we found one that was mostly intact.

Re: No Problem Doing 60 MPH....or 160 MPH!
I love this comment in the description "THIS IS A CUSTOM M37 POWER WAGON, WAS USED IN VEITNAM."
Man, would the guys loved to have that on convoy escort. Have a real hard time shooting it at 160mph..

Re: Jump Seats in '54s
These jump seats, were they mounted on the front part of the rear bed? Facing rearward? I've seen the rear troop seats, but never saw a picture of a jump seat. Mine doesn't have any rear seats so, only have pictures to go by.

Re: In country pictures of the M37?
Thank you so much for sharing the pictures... awesome!!!! Your comment about everyday life is so true. Although I was not in Vietnam, I was in the Marines [82-86] and could have taken a million cool pictures of everyday life, tanks, air strikes, etc etc, , and just didn't bother. Wish I had and glad...

Re: Has Anyone Ever Hand-Started Your M?
Growing up I started many old tractors, Mostly IH and they had hand crank adapters on the crank shaft that look just the like the ones for the M37. None of them had any kind of manual spark retard. Turn fuel on, turn switch on, choke if needed...Crank !!!! Even had a place by the drivers seat to sto...

Re: Source for shift tower pin and plate, P/N in text
I'm interested in any upgrades as well. I still have the transmission I took out and it needs work. I have a good one in it now from Midwest, and wonder how long that pin will last. Although its not driven rough, still crappy design. Charles, I know your a busy man, but any ideas would be appreciate...
