Re: (ETW carb ISSUES!)

Started at the carb.. took it off the truck, and opened it up for the first time it was assembled at the factory. yep.. as expected. full of sediment.. not fine rusty stuff a...

I recently went thru my entire fuel system on my M37. relined gas tank, brand new drop in stainless steel filter in the tank, all brand new armoured lines up to the NOS fuel pump and NOS carb. you cant do much better that that! anyway, as this truck is at a remote location, and I dont get to ...

Re: Silver Engine Paint
I like that cast aluminum that Jim Lee did.. nice. I went black for my M37, however am also building up a 1941 dodge WC12 closed cab truck. this engine will be like my last WC: gray I actually used a Ford gray motor paint. see it on other restorations before and like it, so am doing it again. nice c...

Re: Where would you look first (engine "miss" at idle)
I did take off the cap and rotor and inspect. No issues there I can see. I cleaned it though while off in case of a possible carbon tracing I might not have seen? No amount of distributor adjusting did a thing. nor did any amount of carb adjusting make much difference. (I have no timing light to che...

Re: Where would you look first (engine "miss" at idle)
Random misses. I agree if it was timed I could see it being spark plug or wire fault as it would happen each firing sequence. Which doesn't seem to be the case. I got a new cap and new rotor as well in there. Not thinking this is carb float level related? Well I am here at cabin today so I am going ...

NEED: military speedomenter and cable
First off, this is NOT for an M37. I finally found a decent ww2 dodge WC-12 to restore. the dash has the later style, ww2 gauges in ROUND form... its my general thought that the ww2 trucks with round gauges fit the same sheet metal coutout holes that the M series do. I am not 100% sure. but if someo...
