I am interested in buying. Email pics ASAP to: boobolts2014@gmail.com
Do you have valid titles on both vehicles?

Re: The M37's "Superior Brakes"

My brake overhaul has certainly paid off-I don't tailgate and leave plenty of space when pulling up behind someone at a red light. However, that doesn't stop all the left-turn fools from whisking in front of me as I'm going straight thru MY green light. I'm going to add the loudest railroad air hor...

Re: The M37's "Superior Brakes"

I'll take the M-37's brakes over the ones I had on a 1930 Model A sedan. Totally mechanical brakes, and very small linings. Reason I sold it was because with the crazy drivers around now, I knew it was only a matter of time.........at least with the M-37 you've got some "protection" aroun...

Re: Dustless Blasting. (???)

Hi Jerry and all, I see those ads every week on "My Classic Car" which has devolved into an infomercial after 25+ years. That's why I record it then scan for the pertinent "classic cars" that number only 3 or 4 per show. I too was curious about the cost-I have a regular sand bla...

Re: The M37's "Superior Brakes"

You also have to take their claims in light of average highway speeds of the day. Most people putt-putting around in the country were doing 30ish, not screaming at 55mph at redlining their M37. Mine are fine at 25 to 30 and even when driving to a show across town I only run 40 to 45 and at that spe...

Re: The M37's "Superior Brakes"

Bob
Most all older vehicles with drum brakes don't measure up to newer vehicles with disk brakes.
At over 6,500 lbs., and the skinny brake shoes, M37's are, as Ralph Nader used to say:
"Unsafe at any speed.". :D

Re: Dustless Blasting. (???)

Bob, you mentioned EXPENSIVE.. I don't want to rig one of these things myself, I want to hire a Dustless Blasting franchisee in my area. So the question still is..... what is the estimated cost to do the exterior of a car or truck. I realize cost would go up if other areas, like engine bay, firewall...

Dustless Blasting. (???)

Hard to watch a Saturday morning car/truck repair program on TV without commercials about "Dustless Blasting." Do any of youse guys (Wisconsinism) have knowledge of this dustless blasting system? Does it really work? What media is used to remove paint and rust? Can it be done in your drive...

Its probably better for you than the brake dust that you have encountered rebuilding old vehicles over the years.

Lead in original O.D paint?

Is there lead in the O.D. paint originally applied to M37's by the factory
and/or subsequent coats by the military?

Is it hazardous to our health when sanding or grinding ?

Same questions apply the Strata Blue, etc.

I know about the hazards in CARC.

Re: Need photos, driver's seat cover install

Just installed high quality, new canvas and high density foam from Wee-Bee Webbing on all the seat cushions. Old springs were in poor shape. Un-clipped the springs from the frames. Sand blasted, primed and painted the frames. Laced on the covers. Looks great. No more loose springs poking through the...
