Re: Fuel additives ?

And this AM was thinking about this. My since my truck is now at the Columbia Airport in our hanger, about 5 miles away from...

Re: Grandpa’s M37

back a few years ago, when I rebuilt my truck, and painted the dash, I decided to keep my faded dash plaques. because I am pretty sure they are original to my 1952 truck. Bu new ones sure look spiffy on other's dashes. Hal

Re: MasterPro GL 4 Gear Oil

a year or so ago, Charles T suggested I think on this forum that he feels this Amsoil product is superior for our transmissions. So I drained and refilled mine, which has always shifted like a dream. I have a very slight leak, and filled mine to the bottom of the fill plug threads, which may be the ...

Re: Canvas cab steel groove retainer

Just saw the Dodge Charger in the background. Back in 'spring, ;69, I ordered my own first new car, a 69 Dodge Charger R/'T, with the 440 engine, dark green, white stripes, Torqueflilte trans, power steering, and no other options, paid $3275. I immediately swapped the small 14 inch wheels, for large...

Re: jeep head studs?

I got black oxide coated studs for my 230's head from one of the vendors. Used non-hardening thread sealant on the threads, so when re-torquing the nuts it didn't break the seal. Working well some thousands of miles later. hal

Re: Canvas cab steel groove retainer

silly question, but are you sure none of the vendors or Ebay have a replacement retaining bracket. I found it wasn't difficult at all to install my top, including siding the front top into the retaining groove on my top. hal

Re: Draft Pads

I tried some years ago to install pedal pads, but gave up, and just be sure I drive in shoes/boots that work. NO "tennis shoes". By the way, now having my truck under cover in a hanger at the nearby airfield, along with about a dozen others, with all sorts of tools and machinery, my truck ...
