I sure would like a photo of someone's hinge area up close so I could see a problem with mine. I can see no other way to assemble this and get it to attach, only one way to put the hinge on so the window will attach to it. try Mcmaster carr. they have them in the washer section- kind of pricy. They are called internal tooth lockwashers, the pic doesn't seem right but that is what they are, I have bought them from them.

This gasket to what channel? I was told the gap is normal, that there are little square foam pieces that go there?

OK, here's what I did. I opened the window enough so I could attach the arm to it, got everything tightened down and closed the window. Towards the bottom it pushed the window up a bit and it came closed. So I guess everything is ok. I have never had windows in mine before, when you release the clos...

The u channel on my frame was bent up much further than yours. You said “all new stuff”? Could you elaborate on sources? I bought this truck in 1994, and started buying all the parts I could in the following years-so I have no idea where I got them New M35 windows (supposed to fit) new oem hinges. ...
