Re: Locking hubs on M37?

Installing lock-out hubs was without a doubt, the best modification done to my M37. Second would be.... replacing the antiquated points, with an electronic ignition.

Re: 1954 Rear Crossmember Design

I just went outside and looked at mine and, it is a non-swivel Pintle. It is bolted directly to the cross-member. Also, when you say swivel-type, are you referring to it rotating clockwise? Because mine does not. It "opens" by pulling the small lever on top and that is how it opens up. Als...

Hi, Gary. I got side-tracked for a bit and was focusing more on my family, my truck, my motorcycle and, it's basically been a nightmare ever since Obama was elected. But, I'm back now and doing fine.

Some may disagree but...

I have a canvas top on my M37. I've had older commercial pickups from the 1950s with no headliner, just the bare metal on the roof. I swear my M37 is not only warmer in the winter with the canvas top, it is also cooler in the summer with the canvas top. Yet, I've been asked by a lot of people if I f...

John, that's freakin awesome. Well done! Even though you weren't sure what it was used for, the fact that you bought it and prevented it from ending up in the scrap heap is a huge plus!

Good luck with the restoration, if in fact that's what you have planned. Would be a fun project for sure.

Front seals. Okay, the bearings too. HELP!

I just want the inner and outer seals. Two each on right front and left front wheels, correct? I'm thinking since we'll be that far into it might as well replace bearings or, repack them for sure.

Help please with resources to purchase what I need. Thanks, Gentlemen.
