Tire size on stock m37 rim....will this work

I have a line on a brand new set of gateway mudders, locally, at a decent price. Never been mounted. Owner can't use after buying them Size: 315/75R-16 My question: I want to mount them on my M37 stock rims. Are these tires too wide for the rim size, AND could I use a tube with this tire? Would the ...

(OK) WTB: mounted set of mud/swampers

Really would love to find a set of used mud tires, like gumbo mudders, super swampers or equiv mounted on m37/PW RIMS.

The closer to north Texas/ southern and central OK, into AR or MO OK as well. Willing to travel further for right deal.

My location is south of mcalester, OK.

Thanks

Re: Distributor wobbling?

So the offset is in the direction parallel to the tang, or in the case of the pump, the slot? See I was looking at it from a concentric perspective. Dang. Looks like I got other issues if the distro wobbles and I got a civy pump now eh?

Re: Distributor wobbling?

Anyone have an uninstalled M37 oil pump to post a pic of for me to compare mine too ? Like I said the difference is pretty subtle for sure that's what makes this difficult I guess

Re: Distributor wobbling?

yea thats where my ignorance comes into play.. I have never looked closely at the oil pump, on ANY vehicle, to notice. today I decided to take the guess work out, as JUST ME noted, to take a look. To me, upon close looking, it does appear to be "offset" by a slight amount. Non-concentric i...

(UPDATE) Distributor wobbling?

Looks like I fixed it... Even though it appeared that I had a civy oil pump, I still bought a new one to replace it.. It just didnt seem right with that slightly out of round slot to the shaft. something was wrong. well the new civy pump fixed the wobble.. thanks all for posting!! I have a civilian ...

Re: I am so stumped on this truck. (Help!)

update. First, thanks to all who read and answered. I did try the carb spray trick.. Nothing changed.. I tightned all manifold nuts I could move, not that any of them were loose too much anyway.. still, the carb spray did nothing to alter RPM when sprayed. I DID notice an exhause PIPE leak near the ...

I am so stumped on this truck. (Help!)

I have another problem I can't figure out. Here goes: I start the truck from dead winter cold.. Immediately runs perfect. No popping or missing. Partly choked. As it warms up the Truck begins to stumble, or miss. Like a burnt valve or something. Once warm the truck has the intermittent "puff&qu...

Re: (ETW carb ISSUES!)

Doesn't sound NOS to me, at least the new part. That sediment is what I would expect to find in an old carb that has had a bunch of fuel run through it. Particles small enough to get through the filter settle out and some fuel evaporates, leaving the sediment behind. That's the condition of most al...

Linkage wanted... CARB ball swivel throttlelink

I have an m37 and it has this linkage. Called a throttle link I beleive? Ball swivel type? Goes from the carb throttle to the linkage on the manifold. small part maybe 5-6 in long at best. attached to the carb with a swivel nut and securing not to hold it tight. Much better than the old style of car...
