Re: Fuel Pump Question/Ideas

Vapor lock, and the deterioration of the fuel pump innards leading to gas in the crankcase are concerns. A rebuilt pump with modern parts should solve the gas in oil problem some have success with shielding the fuel line from heat to solve the vapor lock.

Re: M37 add-a-leafs?

I don't know what your comfort level is when doing fabrication but with a couple spare stock spring setups you can always make em like I did http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m13/signal73/a0d55aa7dd5524d0f609a50dc5bf2a26_zpsd72287e2.jpg http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m13/signal73/9a0f916e6b6262...

Re: Introduction, Just jumped in!

I'll also add vintage wiring of Maine, because I'm going to guess your original wiring is SHOT (look under the dash) and it would be a shame for your new project to go up in smoke from an electrical fire!

Re: Weatherstripping identification

That looks like the weatherstrip that mounts on the cab for the bottom door seal. There's a metal strip that holds it in place.

Santas sled (actually XM708 in his pickup truck) brought me down a disc brake kit for the front of my '51, hope everyone else got what was on their lists!
