Thanks jarhead. Was it a captured nut setup or a bolt, washer, and nut setup that secured everything in place?

Re: Battery Box mounting
The floor in mine was pretty shot where the battery box originally sat. It did not come with a box and I had to acquire one. I know it has a tray inside also, but can someone tell me or post a picture about how both are mounted? I had thought that the 4 holes in the box were where the mounting bolts...

M715 heater in M37
Anybody have any experiance in installing the 24v M715 heater in an M37. Just saw some today on the internet and wondered if it would look factory and if it would install without any modifications. Price was very attractive and it had the military look. Phillip http://i.ebayimg.com/t/M715-Kaiser-Jee...

Re: Free 3/8" Star Washers
Carter, I would like a couple if that is not asking too much. I have a current dodge project, 2 future jeep projects, and another WW 2 dodge project so these will come in very handy. I will send you a manila envelope prestamped if that is ok. Thanks.

Re: Correct Motor Oil?
I will check these dates when they arrive. I had heard that before. Still, If I have to throw one or two away, it will still be much cheaper than trying to buy individual ones locally. I also think like anything else storage conditions have a lot to do with shelf life. I plan on storing these in my ...

Re: Correct Motor Oil?
Tim, I plan on going with the Shell Rotella 15-40W in everything vintage thing I have. It is the most recommended in all the forums I have been a part of . Get the STP oil treatment in a blue plastic container. Look at the very fine pring on the front of the label. It says ZDDP. And you can get it a...

You might try Vintage Power wagons . com. They used to have tags for most everything including CDN if I recall.

T. Highway,
Check out the pics on my pic post. I took several photos of the bed area. I can measure mine for you if you need me too. I can also provide a drawing if you would desire one.

Re: Oil Leaks and more fun
If you get that one, I might be interested in the transmission to help you with the cost some. I will also be on the lookout for more in your area. And thanks for your service.
