Re: I would like links to historical M37 pictures please
Morgan, Nice collection of photos! The David Doyle books have a large # of great photos. I'll bring 'em to Petaluma at the end of the month and you can take a look at them when you swing by our campsite :D . Glad to hear you're making progress on the truck. Andy Well as always I am at the mercy of ...

Re: I would like links to historical M37 pictures please
Those are some great photos-some I've seen before, some I have not. Thanks for posting your link! Gary Yeah no problem, I will keep adding to it as I find things. There could be more on this site, I haven't been through everything. When you start to look you begin to see how nobody has tagged the w...

Re: ROLL CALL-WHERE IS EVERYONE?
There are less expensive sources of wax than bowl rings! But I'm allergic to bee stings! $1.39 per ring + 11% off at Menards is a pretty good deal. That's the best I've been able to find locally. I'm open to suggestions. I'd love to use cosmoline, but that's far out of my budget because all I can f...

I would like links to historical M37 pictures please
I have been looking around and I haven't found a collection of M37 pictures from Korea, Vietnam etc... in one place. I started to collect as many as I could from here and from Google searches, historical databases etc... But sometimes I find the truck listed is not an M37 but an older WWII truck in ...

Re: How much $$$ you got in YOUR truck?!!
Well I bought it and had to ship it cross country, we're painting it now, at least $15k at this point. I'm doing 4.89 gears and knuckle rebuild this summer, oh I did pay for the gears, add that, plus the guy swapping the gears labor I'm sure at least three thousand more by then. At least my tires ar...

Re: Correct bumper numbering?
[quote="NAM VET"]I watched several Utube video's of how to paint the stencils, which I got from Rick Larsen. My son and I masked off properly, and it worked best to have both of us carefully lay on the adhesive stencils. After measuring and lining up where they should go, he would lay down...

Re: Correct bumper numbering?
I found this picture of my original bumpers. I can't really read the left side but I can use the info on this page to figure out as much as I can. Good info thanks. I do know my truck is an M42 command truck so that could help I guess, HHB goes along with that.

Re: Beechwood Canvas Works new set of M37 seat covers
Canvas smell is a love it or hate it thing. Most military guys love it and most wives hate it. I do know one military guy that will have flashbacks if he gets near it though. Not good! I was just thinking the top is fairly new and probably smells a bit anyway. But I hope at least not sitting on the...

Re: Beechwood Canvas Works new set of M37 seat covers
I'd swap your canvac for duplicated Sunbrella. (I am collecting original patterns for my own projects) I made my seats, chain covers, headlight covers and spare tire cover in Sunbrella several years ago. Holding up fine in an outdoor stored Arizona daily driver. After receiving yours, I would copy ...
