Re: 90 Ram to 52 M37

check on page 7 on my build you'll see the belt reroute. I had to do that so the rad motor would clear the engine.

Re: 90 Ram to 52 M37

One thing I see already is you cannot run that fan. I also removed the fan mounting bracket and made a new one to reroute the belt.

Door window seals popping out

I have an annoying issue with the seals that are attached to the cab roof for the doors. You screw on the metal piece and you slip in the rubber seals after. If you do it with no glue they pop out every time the window hits it when you close the door. I've tried weather strip adhesive and that don't...

Re: M37 signal lights

Thanks w30bob. I read most of the pages and It looks like this is dated August 1963. That is maybe when all the M's were retrofitted with signals.

Re: M37 signal lights

you were right 52 M-52. There was a MWO on that. It was 9-2300-20 for standard signal light installation and 9-2300-263 for alternative signal installation. I cannot find a date these were brought out but this tells me the older M37 did not com with signals. I believe the M37B1 did. tbone 1004 put m...

M37 signal lights

I have a question on signal lights. On my M37 it had a signal stat signal light switch which if I remember is an aftermarket add on. Question is. Did the M37 ever have factory installed signal lights? Were they all retro fitted with signals later in life? In the manual it shows and mentions a front ...

Re: 1951 M37 4bt Modern Repower

Just reading through you blog and being you are thinking of Cummins caught my eye. I have a custom M37 running a 93 6BT and I was reading a concern about power and mileage. I understand that the 4BT is under powered for my liking so I went 6BT. The 6BT went realitively well and would cruise at 65-70...

Re: What is a restored M37 worth?

Hi Bob. You have a very good point. Myself, as same as you in one point, is that I didn't build this truck to sell. If I did I may have sold it then and there. I have said to my family that I will never sell this truck for whatever money, Unless it's stupid money. We do have people up here that cash...

What is a restored M37 worth?

I was just on facebook and there was a lot of "discussion" about restoring to original and saving these trucks they way they were. I am in the car business and Sometimes a car needs to be customized to be worth something. I don't know what a M37 with no special history behind it is worth. ...

Re: Building a retro M37

I just took these. They are the original brackets, cut off and welded to the plate on the frame. that way I used the old mount locations and the running board brackets were use able at the same time. https://s20.postimg.cc/j0u9l4irh/20140312_181245.jpg https://s20.postimg.cc/xqf3pml19/20140312_18130...

Re: Building a retro M37

tbone1004 wrote:great build thread! What is the new track width of the truck compared to the old? Dig the color too!
the track width is about 4" wider I think, I don't have original diff to compare. These diffs are out of a 93 Dodge W250 so whatever the Dodge specs are.
