GROUND IT FIRST!

they are static sensitive and should be kept in the bag until use. They work great and ive never had problems with them when installed correctly.

Re: electrical gremlins

They are good but are static sensitive and will short out VERY easy with no ground or simple shock.

Agreed, we ship vehicle frames, etc. Take the tires off and put in on some heavy duty pallets, band it all down , and ship it.

Re: Leaking Oil Pan Gasket Replaced.

Carter, That is about what I did when putting mine back together. I had 4 very slightly longer bolts on my 4 corners.

Now to pull my radiator that I see is leaking now and have it repaired or replaced....

Re: Leaking Oil Pan Gasket Replaced.

I replaced mine today the correct way, still might have snugged the bolts up too much but it was harder to do with the cork not being trimmed and the gaskets wanting to overlap and the pan not wanting to sit flush because of the cork.

I also use Halomar this time.

Re: Cross Country Transport

If its just a bare frame, crate it up somewhat and ship it Fed Ex Freight. They will ship it no problem , not sure on the cost but they will do a much better job than some other places.

Re: g741 shirt idea

I like the 2nd one more, how about - Dodge M37 3/4 Ton - on the front where it says G741 with or without the star and bridge weight , then the back like you have it , looks like a M37 and has our forum on it . Would anyone be interested in it all no matter what the end design after we agree? Id like...

That's great to hear, I had to drain my tank not long ago.

Try and run premium non ethanol gas in your truck if you can.
