Still here Gary, just hoping for warm weather to begin working on cleaning and painting the battery box and tray as well as the floor under it all.

Every one I ever saw was natural steel finished, we had a couple of dozen of those in the tool crib in High School Machine Shop donated by the military after WWII and none were painted.

Sorry, no info on M37s but think about this, if it will run after an attack it will be on the road as log as your fuel in the tank lasts, gas stations are not hardened. No fuel!
