Dicktater????

Dicktater - are you out there or has anyone heard him about? I have had no response to messages, an e-mail or the last posting and I wonder if he's ok?

Dicktater?

Hey DT, did I annoy or offend you? - I still need those bits, just not the windscreen mounting pivots, is all the other hardware is still available?

Fuel problems......

I have the same fuel problem when it is cold, it is caused in my case by the fuel freezing in the venturi of the carburettor, mine causes the occasional HUGE backfire too as when it spontaneously melts you have a fuel overcharge problem. It can be solved by putting a 12V (in my case) heating grid un...

Dream Diesel?

I'd like a 4-53 Gm with an Allison transmission in mine, dreams I know but I really have a soft spot for the feel of a GM 2-stroke.

Thanks Guys........ Dicktater, looking at your pics I'd need the outer mounting hardware too, saying that, why would you chop up such a "pristine" windshield  . This is actually for the side windows of my truck so the installation would be a simple one, could you drill the rivets out...

If you want your manifolds to look neat but not too overly garish then once cleaned just paint them with pot belly black, takes the heat, dosen't chip and is a rust preventative (well, the one I use is anyhow), saying that, they soon develop their own colour and still look neat if untouched. No, no breakages, all is well with the axles and I am moving about the place with confidence offroad knowing they are a good product.
I just want to catch up with him socially - been a long time between "drinks" so I was just curious as to his wherabouts.

Vacuum Booster.....

G'day David, I run a VH80 booster on my truck and when it was drums all round it worked fine, the main pull to the disc brake upgrade is was the cost of getting drums here as mine were getting out of service (or so I thought anyhow) so with the kindness and help from Ray, Brigand and others I have t...
