i see some members have swapped the gen to a 24v alternator...i have a couple of the large Leece-Neville's off a cucv.
since the wiring needs a rebuild on my m43,this might be a practical mod to consider and plan for now,rather than later...whats involved? especially on the wiring side?

just a little update... took the headlight buckets off yesterday. interesting to find a production date on the lamps...April 21 - 1953 this dosnt mean that these are original lamps,or that this is the vehicle assembly date, but these things look suspiciously original.real close,and prior to, the del...

thanks...i think im going to grind down a couple of wrenches i have laying around that are a bit beat up.i can re purpose them and keep them in an m43 specific tool kit. snap on's would be wonderful,but they want an arms and legs for tools,and i need mine where they are. i actually asked a kid a NAP...

what size wrenches?
mines not bad...just sounds like a bunch of sewing machines,even when hot...i think a lash adjustment is long overdue. cant find info on the size of wrench required.
