Pretty sure those are just flat steel and could be welded or even bolted in using flat sheet stock.

I cut it up pretty badly. I wasn't expecting anyone to be interested. I might have the bolt-in plates that come out. Otherwise it's in pieces.

Doing a chassis swap using a '78 Chevy 3/4 ton Camper Special. I'll be able to drive at highway speeds, have 37 gallons of gas, and have disc brakes. This is the cab with the Chevy floor in it. Well THAT's a LOT of miles on an M37. Regardless of being repowered. Are there any other parts that failed more than once? What parts are problems long term?

I don't know what the dimensions are for the M37 but there are square body Chevy Blazer tanks that are 28x28 and come in 25 and 31 gallons. And Suburbans have a 40(?) gallon tank.

I just bought a 31 gallon for about $135 delivered.
