you could also cram two 12v condensers in there if you cant find a decent 24v. cap would need a bit of clearancing to fit :?: They aren't 24 volt condensers, the M37 shares its condenser with several other 6-12-24 volt applications. Yes, it is. It won't run right without it. Sometimes you find one where someone has stuffed two gaskets in there, they don't run right, either.

Another thing to check is your fuel tank cap. I found that my truck was starving for fuel. I have a transparent inline filter, before the fuel pump, and I noticed that it was bone dry when the engine was running! Also found that removing the cap when the engine was running, resulted in a a big gulp ...

Check the accelerator pump, the leather might be dried up, or possibly the brass ring that seals the vacuum chamber has cracked. Had both of these happen a couple of times.
