Re: Lines and the 24v waterproof distributor
Easy answers 1st: The black hose in your last pic goes to/or comes from, ( I can't remember which) a hot water personnel heater. Usually there is just a pipe plug there. As far as distributor swapping go, here's what Vintage Power wagons has posted on their distributor page call them and double chec...

Re: Lines and the 24v waterproof distributor
Don't forget, you need to have the proper venturis in the elbow. They are angled so the air flow is created. For example, if you have 2 coming from the distributor, the inlet venturi is open faced toward the air cleaner (so air pressure is pushed into the line) and the other is turned away from the ...

Form-A-Gasket Type 3 Aviation Affectionately known as the "Brown Shit" It's in the same family as Anti-Seize...It works awesome but gets on everything and is a pain to get off. I have never had a failure with it. Use lacquer thinner to get it off your hands etc. For your shiny engine...

I thought the same thing for about 2 minutes before realizing optimum truck fixing season is the same as optimum fishing season (here on the east coast). And people said with retirement I could get things done..

From OMM Fig 2-11 page 2-25 it looks like it runs up the dimmer switch and then unsupported over in front of the shock and over the steering column to the starter.
page 2-35 fig. 2-26 gives some instructions then refers to fig 2-11.

Re: M42 Kit info
You might want to contact John Bizal at Midwest. He had a decked out command truck at one time. Being a dealer all these years, he would know and probably have some, if not all, of the parts you lacked (unless they are made of unobtanium).
