Re: See you on U-Tube

Those of us who flat towed M-37's when we were in the Army knew it took a deuce and a half to do it safely. For every person who claims they did it with no problem, there are several who actually did it and have some horror stories to tell. One of mine had to do with getting the M-37 to follow. The...

flat Tow M?

Anyone here ever flat tow an M with a regular pickup? My boss has an 01 3/4 ton superduty with the powerstroke, and my brother has his 78 with the 440 in it... the 78 would be easy to get ahold of, but Im not sure if it has the weight... I would obviously drop the driveshafts on hte M, and air the t...

I was just yankin' your chain, Josh. I knew the difference between "AWD" and "4WD," but since AWD does actually drive all 4 wheels, it is still (gramatically speaking) "4-wheel drive." I always thought that it was a poor choice of terms and that "full-time 4WD&quo...

no, AWD drives all 4 wheels, all teh time, even on dry pavement. 4WD (usually) only drives two, and it drives them @ exactly the same speed all the time, so it can't be run on dry pavement

no, thats not what I meant... Im not sure why people do those... by the time you get done doing custom driveshafts, finding the parts, buying the adapter plates, etc, you have as much into it as just going and getting a Stak or Atlas case. I altered my idea some... Im going to use detroit true-trac ...

It rolled yesterday... for the first time in 5 years!

Sadly, it wasnt under its own power, rather from the 440 cubes of my brother's 78 power wagon... I pulled it out of the muck beside the barn, it had sunk down about 1 foot into the ground, the rims were even with the ground surface, and it took some heavy yanking with the 78 to get it out. It did ro...

No real way to tell if this seller put the screws to you intentionally. He may be honest in his intentions, most likely he looked at literature that said it fits a certain application & assumed its accuracy. You know these days nobody knows anything unless it jumps from a computer screen & ...

Re: The door left open or what

Don't mean to ruffle your feathers here, but you really can't blame these folks for return refusal since tires had been mounted. You wouldn't believe the stuff we see here caused by tire installers damage. I agree these folks shouldn't tell you they will fit unless they know without doubt that they...

It wont take long, she'll go the way of all the other teeny-boppers before her. You can already see the signs, like, posing for a 50 something year old lesbian photographer topless because she said the shot was "artistic". I gotta give ole billy ray credit though, he certainly knows how to...

Don't F with me!!!

http://www.audiforums.com/m_878677/tm.htm When Im done, they're going to regret not letting me return the rims. The internet is a VERY powerful tool... I get my jollies off on this kind of stuff... I sent them an email entitled "thanks for the great service" with links to the dif...

Re: Just a thought

Went out and did a quick look at my W200's Dana 44. The spring perch is off to the side of the pumpkin. Perhaps it would make an easier swap??? Just a thought. It would, but, nothing looks quite as mean under an M as a D60... well, abye rockwells  Those are the only pics I have, sorry. I t...
