Phillips head bed bolts

I started disassembling the truck, and I am working on the bed, and Im having a hell of a time getting those phillips head bolts out, as most have been gnawed on by someone else in the past, or the ones I can get a good grip on are breaking off, some are so rounded to start Ive had to drill them out...

any idea what causes the turrets to pop off the tanks like that? looks like the one popped off, went up through the roof of teh building, and fell through down to the bottom story. On a side note, the russians know how to build a handsom "deuce".

Iola pictures

Cant say I was too impressed with the show overall, I remember it being much, much better 5 years ago, but, I'm guessing Gas prices have alot to do with that. BUT, that being said, there was some nice hardware there: http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a46/josh19wrc/IMG_6072.jpg http://i8.photobucket.c...

I went... I havent been in 5-6 years, but, I thought it sucked. There wasn't ANYTHING there compared to when I was there last... Only things I was impressed to see was the VC-6, VC3, M123 named "Connie", and the wc-53 that showed up late saturday. Has it been that slow the last few years, ...

yup, need to change the sig now... The driveline plan has changed as well! I'll take some pictures of the dana swap. It's pretty simple really. Rear will bolt right in, all you need to do is cut some schedule 40 pipe in half to make a "cup" around the axle tube to increase its diameter fro...

stock frame, not so stock driveline. 360 V8, NP 435, NP205 case, and Dana 60s. Only stock drivelien part is the radiator. I got tired of constantly working on/spending money on the stock driveline. The D60's were the best mod Ive done to it.

My first pics

Finally got it down here. Ended up having it flatbedded. I couldnt do it any cheaper myself. The rust on the body is pretty substantial, but, the stuff underneath is mostly surface. A good sandblast and repaint will fix it all. Thank god I have my rust free AZ body! It has holes in the body all over...

kinda OT, but, the only thing I kept from the original driveline in mine was those goofy gigantic left hand thread lug nuts... I use them as desk toys/paper weights

Only thing that scares me with the trailer idea is the high center of gravity, thats alot fo weight up high! Does this cause a problem? There is a place a few miles out of town that will rent 10K lb capacity trailers, so, I have acess to one, I just dont know about the CG thing... Thats why I ...
