Re: M201B1 going to Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Fl

I sent Bert a email with a pdf drawing of the bracket. There was a pic of it in my photo gallery but I couldn’t load it for some reason. Maybe Bert can put it on the site? If not I can email it to you also.

1961 M201B1 For Sale Florida

I've owned this truck for 11 years, frame off rebuild 10 years ago, recently repainted, ready to go. There are pics of the rebuild in the photo gallery and I can send newer pics upon request. Truck has been sitting with less than 100 miles put on it since the rebuild. Thanks for looking. $25,000 but...

Re: Car Show

Hi Mark, let's get together sometime. I would love for you to meet my son, he has shown a lot of interest in joining the Marines after high school. I'll bet he could learn a lot from someone who has been there. I never paid to much attention to those rims knowing they weren't going to stay on the tr...

Re: Car Show

Truck looks great Mark! I'm guessing that's the same truck I saw in Georgia at your house years ago. Your a little over an hour away from me now, look me up if you're ever in the neighborhood.

Re: M37 Build Records from Chrysler

I sent my request for my build card on July 29th, received by chrysler august 4th, with a letter dated august 20th and copy of the build card. The build card was hand written with serial number (80008886), motor number (t245-3972) and Army number (2372116). That was it! There were no punch outs on t...

Re: M37 Build Records from Chrysler

I emailed Chrysler explaining Florida using motor serial numbers and to find out what they would need for proof of ownership to get the build card. Here is the reply... Hello James, Unfortunately, at this time, we are temporarily not answering requests due to limited staffing and a backlog of reques...

Re: M37 Build Records from Chrysler

Went to the DMV today, according to them that number is for the motor. Anything built before 1955 Florida does not use the vehicle vin number. If you change the motor you are supposed to fill out a form and pay to have a new title made. A bill of sale is required also for the new motor. I can't reme...

Re: Chrysler M37 Engineering Photos

Hey Bob, I think the B1's had ARMY on the hoods, Rick at milstencils would know.

Back in '07 when I put the M201 together I bought photos from Chrysler of it and the other variants. I would share them but wouldn't know how to put them on here, not sure if you can still buy them.

Re: M37 Build Records from Chrysler

Bob, thanks for bringing this topic up, very interesting. After reading the form I went and dug out my title on my 51 only to remember that the serial number said T245A203390, no idea where they got that. 20 years ago when I bought the truck I knew nothing of M37's so didn't pay much attention to it...

Re: M201B1 in Mopar Action Magazine

Hi all, since there were not many of the M201B1's made I will ask Vietnam vets if they ever saw one and show them a pic. They all remember the M37's but not any M201's, until the other day. Someone I have known for years but did not know he served remembered a particular truck that was used as a gun...
