Coil Swap
Today I decided to take my M on my usual trip home from work instead of my daily driver. It didn't start out too well, bout a mile from work it sputtered then died, down shift, pop the clutch, started back up, but only for a quick minute. Drift off to the side of the road. Gas gauge says 1/2 a tank,...

Re: Bogging down in 3rd and 4th
Back up and running! On top of everything I listed up top, I did a carb rebuild. Good thing, all kinds of crap in the bowl. Installed new plugs and set the timing to 4 DBTC. Just to make sure I covered all the potential issues, I put new gas in also. Checked the vacuume at the intake manifold and go...

Re: Bogging down in 3rd and 4th
Never mind my last question Charles. Done some more digging and found the answer I needed. Looks like I will be buying an adapter for using the timing light.
Thanks

Re: Bogging down in 3rd and 4th
Thanks Charles, Gas was at least 6 months old but I did put STA-BIL in it hoping to fight off the stale gas problem. When I was cleaning out the fuel lines I gave them a good long blast of air, also shotgunned it a few times. I hope it is just stale gas. I have read up on the timing light and using ...

On my return leg I noticed it started spitting and sputtering in 3rd and 4th gear, rev it up and drop down to 2nd and everything was ok. As ...

Replacement glass
Hey guys, I am in need of a piece of replacement glass for my front windshield. I ordered two replacement windows and was waiting on the time to replace them. Well finally got around to it and got the first one installed but when I opened the box on the other one the glass was shattered. I didn't in...

Just an update this time guys. I took the beast for a 26 mile run last week and she ran alike a champ :D ! It took about 2 miles for the tires to warm up and round out but after that it was all good. No spitting or sputtering, just hummed along at about 40 mph. Noticed I had an oil leak by the fuel ...

Re: Need some part numbers
