I'm eyeballing that one too! My CD manuals don't include that NSN and the NSN website pulls it but doesn't list which vehicles it fits.

I've never had any problems with VPW or any of the other vendors but I will say that VPW's prices are higher in some cases. They were the first vendor I became aware of when I got my M37 and they were wonderful in explaining the ins and outs of M37 ownership, and things to watch out for when reconst...

I scan E-Bay daily looking for my needed parts, and I too, surf on by when I see swiss-cheese body panels and such at exorbitant prices. I have much better luck from local MV swap meets and my forum friends-you've always come through when I need parts-too many to name but we don't get our trucks don...

Carter's scorched hand took me back to my fast-lube days, as I collected some wounds just like that one. Of course, just as I was finishing that career they came out with Kevlar-laced gloves and arm protectors that saved tons of skin. Before we got those tools, I still recall one of my teammates one...

Check the steering first by just grabbing the steering wheel with one hand at 12 oclock and turning it to either side, determining how far it moves before the wheels on the ground start to turn. Plan on replacing your tie rod ends first, then check for excessive play. If still sloppy, check and /or ...

I have gamma-goat taillights installed and am mounting a removable amber whoopee light on the left-front bed corner. I say left side so I can be seen by all the fast lane drivers to my left, and high enough to clear the cab roof for 360 degree visability at every angle. It does little good to mount ...

Hello M37 Dodge! I suspect nobody else has replied yet because there are so many different ways to address your questions, so I'll lead off... If possible, find one that has all or most of the parts intact. While parts are a'plenty over here (if you have the $$$), they may be next to impossible to f...

We all know what a tough truck the M37 series is, and it takes a tough grade set of tools to handle it, especially for those bolts that haven't seen a wrench in 50+ years, and those seem to be the exact bolts you have to wrestle with on the side of the road. Just keeping track of mine-it has eaten: ...
